The General Educational Development (GED) tests are a group of four subject tests which, when passed, provide certification that the test taker has United States or Canadian high school-level academic skills. It is an alternative to the US high school diploma. The mathematical reasoning section of the GED test consists of two types of problems, quantitative problem-solving and algebraic problem-solving.
You should be familiar with math concepts, measurements, equations, and applying math concepts to solve real-life problems. You don’t have to memorize formulas and will be given a formula sheet in the test center as well as on the screen in the test.
